How do you feel about finishing a big step in your life and shifting to university life?
From the day I started high school, I was dreaming of the university life. When the time came and started university, I felt that it was a different life. Everything in my life has changed; the way of studying and handling academic issues, living alone in dorms, I now have bigger responsibilities and am independent.
What was it like to be one of the top students in Lebanon?
When I had the opportunity to win a scholarship through BLOM BANK to study at LAU, I was very happy and decided to continue my journey by being successful in university as I were in school.
What are you planning to major in at university/college?
I have always planned to study banking and finance and, thank God, I was able to achieve my dream by choosing this major at university.
At this stage of your life, what kind of advice would you give to students your age? Are there any tips you would like to give them?
I advise all students to concentrate on their studies and enjoy their university life since it is a once in a life time opportunity to experience this phase.
How were BLOM shabeb program and website helpful to you? And how, in your opinion, can this program be enhanced to help students even more?
BLOM shabeb has given me a life opportunity that every successful student would dream of. It provides students with career fairs and job vacancies. It even helps them find universities that suit each and every one of them, not to mention all kinds of support they need.
